Recurrent stroke is a chronic condition that has a significant impact on the physical, psychological, social, and environmental aspects of patients’ lives. The recovery process of recurrent stroke patients requires comprehensive support, especially from the family, as the closest support system. Family support consists of emotional, informational, instrumental, and appreciative aspects that may influence patients’ ability to adapt, perform daily activities, and improve their quality of life. This study aims to analyze the relationship between family support and the quality of life of recurrent stroke patients. The research used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional correlational design. A total of 20 respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using a family support questionnaire and the World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF (WHOQOL-BREF) instrument. Data analysis was performed using the Spearman Rank test to determine the relationship between variables. The results showed a significant relationship between family support and quality of life among recurrent stroke patients, with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.473 and a p-value of 0.035 (p < 0.05). Patients with lower levels of family support tended to experience poorer quality of life. Therefore, improving family support is important to enhance the quality of life of recurrent stroke patients.
