Background: Pain following femur fracture surgery is frequently experienced by patients and may interfere with mobility as well as the ability to perform daily activities. One non-pharmacological approach that can be utilized to manage pain is the Benson relaxation technique, which combines breathing regulation and mental concentration to reduce pain perception. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the effect of Benson relaxation technique on pain reduction among post-operative femur fracture patients. Method: This study employed a descriptive case study approach involving two post-operative femur fracture patients on days one to three who reported moderate to severe pain levels. Benson relaxation intervention was administered for approximately 10–15 minutes, twice daily, over a three-day period. Pain intensity was assessed before and after each intervention session using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Results: Findings indicated a reduction in pain intensity in both patients following the implementation of the intervention. Conclusion: The Benson relaxation technique may be considered an alternative non-pharmacological intervention to assist in reducing pain among post-operative femur fracture patients.
